Training Log

Keeping a training journal can be incredibly beneficial, rewarding, and addicting! By tracking your run distances, times, races, and mileage you can identify weaknesses in your training, avoid injury by clearly listing your true running trends and avoid overly aggressive mileage increases, and identify previous training habits that have worked. It also puts in stone all the miles you've been putting in on the roads and trails. Over the years it can serve as a history of your life as a runner or walker.

If that got you hooked, and you're ready to get started, download the following running log! Sure there are a zillion other running logs you could find on the internet, but this one was created by a Chicago Frontrunner, and is completely FREE!! It's an Excel file, which means just about anyone can download it and use it. All of the important function cells are protected, so no worries about messing anything up.

If you have any questions or comments about the training log email Glenn Brown at GBnotChad@aol.com.
