FR/FW Chicago Social at the Chicago History Museum's Out At CHM
Discover the long and storied history of gays and lesbians through the Out at CHM series. FR/FW Chicago will be showing up in numbers for the latest installment of the Chicago History Museum's Out At CHM series.
Many of you have already attended previous events so you know how amazingly interesting a little new knowledge can be.
Members are responsible for procuring their own tickets - and these lectures tend to sell out - so if you haven't purchased your ticket yet call 312/642.4600 or go online to https://services.chicagohistory.org/auto_choose_ga.asp?area=80. Do it. Now!
SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR THE BANK OF AMERICA SHAMROCK SHUFFLE
Sunday morning, March 30, 2008, Grant Park
Our club has been asked once again to volunteer for the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle.
We will marshal the walkers as in past years. It’s a low-stress activity (no panic to pour water, etc.) and it’s your chance to see each of the 2000 walkers one by one and offer your best personal support to anyone of your choice.
Volunteers will receive an official race t-shirt (usually long-sleeve), and our club will receive a generous donation.

Ice Skating on February 10th
On Sunday, February 10th, join all your FR/FR friends and glide down to the ice skating rink in the city with the best views - the Tribune Ice Rink at Millennium Park.
We’ll be meeting at 1:00 p.m. at Cloud Gate (Anish Kapoor’s amazing silver bean) then walk down to the skating rink.
Even if you’ve never skated before, come out and give it a try or have some hot chocolate at the nearby café and watch the fun. The café has heaters and a fireplace where you sit or grab a snack.
