Doing the F^ing Freezing ½-Marathon?
Then you'll want to show up an hour earlier on Saturday, January 14. At 8am a group of die-hards will depart from the Totem Pole to add some extra miles to the regular fun run. (Which will still start at 9am) The F^ing Freezing Half is on January 28. Thank you Julie for organizing this!
New Year's Day, New Year's Run
Frontrunners/Frontwalkers will be participating in the annual New Year's Day 5K run on Sunday, January 1. The race starts at 11am. Look for Corbin near the Stockton Avenue start line: He'll be wearing a 'big hat.' Afterwards, everyone will head to Stella's for a post-race brunch. A Farewell To Pad Thai
This Tuesday, December 20, will be the current president's (that would be me) last Tuesday night post fun run/walk dinner. You are all encouraged to bring your regards to Taste of Asia, 3120 N Broadway at 8 pm. He (that would be I) will bring the wine. (Of the finest Three Buck Chuck vintage.)
15th Annual Lights Run
Come celebrate the over consumption of electricity as Corbin hosts his fifteenth annual holiday Lights Run. It starts, as all Frontrunner runs should, at the Totem Pole then continues downtown then up the Magnificent Mile and along the Lincoln Park Zoo. The run is approximately ten miles, so afterwards there will be a regrouping at the Pick Me Up Cafe to refuel.
